Album Launches & Choir Festivals
At St. Joseph Men’s Choir – Chikapa, we believe in preserving and sharing our music beyond the church walls. Our debut album, MANNA, launched in 2021, stands as a testament to our mission of evangelizing through singing. Likewise, participating in choir festivals allows us to share our spiritual journey alongside fellow choirs, celebrate the richness of Catholic music, and grow in musical and spiritual unity. St Joseph Men’s Choir – Chikapa are champions both at Limbe Deanery Level and Blantyre Archdiocesan Level in the Men’s Choirs category as per results of October 2024 and May 2025 Choral Music Festival Scoring Sheets which were 90% and 92% resepectively.

LEAD IN THE SINGING DURING SUNDAY MASS
On a rotational basis of the 5 choirs at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Parish – Chikapa, St Joseph Choir leads the congregation in the singing during Sunday Masses, enriching the liturgical experience with powerful hyms and spirit-filled music.

Fundraising
To sustain our mission and support various projects, St. Joseph Men’s Choir – Chikapa actively engages in diverse fundraising initiatives such as retailing, raffle draws, sales of our music DVDs, CDs, Flash Discs and Memory Cards. Negotiations are underway with Products & Services Bureau Ltd for a partnership to promote the Tenderite online auction platform and Tenderite Online Procurement Portal. Through this partnership the choir will earn a commission for all sales closed by the choir agents, offering an innovative way to raise funds
